The rooms are quite large considering it's Japan. The beds are huge. However, the rooms need some a fresh update and slight refurbishment. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the Shin-Osaka station. It doesn't have much restaurants in the area exce

We were disappointed at the facilities as two power points did not work. The toilet leaked and you got wet feet. There was no where to wash up dishes. The exterior stairs were mouldy and slippery when wet. Also no exterior lighting on the stairs.

Clean, good hearty breakfasrt (a big plus in expensive Japan) plus frequent shuttle service to Takayama.
