      Rubbish. Hotel staff were awful and offered nothing whatsoever. Toilet was semi clean, shower was almost clean. Room was OK but stank, you'd think they'd clean the cigarette butts off the window sill if they didn't want you to smoke. the icing

      I know it seems petty, but crappy tv channel quality and no free wifi really does peg the score back. It's 2016 not 2001! Great location. Loved the bed, and the shower. I just expect the little details to be there to give it a 5 star rating.

      This is my favorite place to stay in Hokitika. The rooms are spacious and you can watch the surf break from your balcony and have it lull you to sleep. The towels are big and fluffy too
