Probably one of the worst stays I've had. While understanding that old Victorian houses will have some creaks there is no sound proofing - as such the sound from the apartments above were unbearable. Anytime anyone walked sounded like a herd of eleph

The staff there is very welcoming and considerate. The room is large and comfortable. Breakfast is great, worth trying. It's also situated next to two Pokemon stops (Bonus advantage

I only used the Grand City Hotel for a single night but found it a quiet, great location that was by far the best value for the area.

Only issue was our room was under reception and therefore just under main entrance to building so was quite noisy early in morning as you could hear suitcases being rolled in and out of building.

The lobby was nice.
