Staff were very friendly and helpful but the room was tiny. The air con was old and very noisy making it hard to sleep.it was clean but overall the standard of the facilities was not what I expected based on both the price and the other reviews. There are

We had a great time. Went to the Tyne theatre and is so close no taxi needed. Eldon square for shopping is very handy too. The room was just too hot. No air con in any of the hotel

We booked two rooms but given on a different floor when we checked in the afternoon. The breakfast is too simple for the price paid. Other than that, the rest is generally okay. The front door staff is very helpful.
