Lovely garden and nice public bath. Arashiyama is my favourite location in Kyoto

Room size is big enough for a family but there is no cleaning service.

Only a short block to the metro station, nice staff that spoke English (or at least some), close to the canal, beautiful area

Staff at desk not particularly welcoming, not a great first impression.

I would not return back to this hotel.
