      would rather stay in travellodge for a way cheaper price. Basic room, basic amenities, basic hotel, not fancy at all. Stayed two nights, but no one came to check the room and change our towel. Location was good, near to the beach and town. Reception staff

      The sea view is extremely nice that I could enjoy the sunrise from my room. The hot spring is traditional but good enough. The location is convenience. Just 5 minutes walk to Beppu station

      Nothing worked in our tiny room. The light didn't turn on, the in-room safe didn't work, the TV didn't turn on either, and the shower water temperature was dangerous - it went from really cold to really hot within a few seconds of not touching
