would rather stay in travellodge for a way cheaper price. Basic room, basic amenities, basic hotel, not fancy at all. Stayed two nights, but no one came to check the room and change our towel. Location was good, near to the beach and town. Reception staff

Hotel is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is quiet and rooms are clean, although location is a bit far from major attractions/Kyoto station. thankfully hotel provides shuttle bus to/from Kyoto station

The room was tiny, which I can tolerate. But the bathroom was very poorly maintained: only the hand shower worked, the "rain" shower in the ceiling was totally clogged. The sink was blocked, as was the toilet, which required repeted flushing. Mo
