Location is the only plus point for this hotel

Only problem was the lift - it wasn't working 3 out of 4 days we were there at times. Had to catch the service lifts on more than one occasion or the stairs.

Linen was very old, Pillows where uncomfortable. Location was great but that was it. Could hear people in room above and either side of my room talking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Just like you lived in a castle

We stayed 2 nights.The hotel was next to the Randen electrical railroad Shijo-Omiya station. This goes to many tourist sites. Room was small, typical of Japanese rooms but adequate. Breakfast was ok. Walking distance of downtown area.
