Very impressed with this hotel. The room has everything you can want including an iron and ironing board which is always important for a business traveller. The staff are all typical of Newcastle people, friendly and warm.

Malmaison Newcastle is ideally placed with views of the river (if you're lucky) and opposite The Baltic. It is spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Hairs in bath and towel. Breakfast had to wait 20 mins to be seated when there was plenty of tables. Staff were sluggish serving. No bitter with toast and no teaspoon with tea. Overall very disappointing. Won't stay there again and won't be recomm

Upgraded the room but don't really think it was worth it. If you have facilities in the room they should be included.
