    The staff was great in English and easy to converse. The rug needs to be upgraded and needs wash clothes. Other than that, the room was clean. And the location was great.

    Fantastic modern hotel within minutes of Kyoto station. Only stayed one night but was probably the best hotel of our trip. Just FYI you will not be allowed in the hot spring if you have visible tattoos, but this is the norm in Japan so no surprise.
