Most of the staff speak perfect english and they are all very helpful in terms of recommendation for travel options within town and reservation of table for restaurants.
Alight at Otsu station, exit - look for Hotel sign/name, which is in Japanese, next to station.
Friendly staffs. Restaurant at reception level, serves nice and reasonably price Japanese food, but closes by 9pm.
Location was great - just one subway stop from shopping areas in Nagoya station and Sakae. Very helpful concierge staff. People at the reception were a little cold though. Coffee shop team was great too.
