The Carlton hotel is in a great position to access all the city sites. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety. I would recomend this hotel to others.

Close to subway and great environment

Location is in Kyoto Station, so it's really easy to access to train or bus services... There are a lot of restaurant below the station which is easy to find. The room is big and clean, definitely will come back again when visiting Kyoto

The underground is a mere 20 steps from the hotel and the station is just one stop away from Osaka station, the main station for trips out of Osaka.
