The hotel is in a wonderful location. It is truly a grand property with gracious and helpful staff. The hotel's plumbing and some structural issues are showing age. For example, there was a water leak in another couple's bathroom on a lower floor

When taxis are so expensive, the proximity to trains and buses is a big plus when you're on a budget. Walking distance to Paddington train station was very handy. Staff were friendly and helpful, good value. Room was comfortable and not too cramped,
