The classic hotel cares well for its guests and does well in handling the renovation stress without affecting standards to much.

Can hear guests talking and staffs pushing the carts very early in the morning. Was awaken by the noise every morning I stayed at the hotel.

Overall pretty happy - especially with the location, bed quality, and bathroom size. However the room smelled of smoke - either from a previous rogue guest, or drifting up from the smokers' level below. The staff at front desk wouldn't believe us,
