Close enough to sites (like the Castle and Princes Street) to walk to, very safe neighborhood, friendly people all over

I am a regular visitor to 4 and 5 star hotels. Where do I start..... I couldn't get into my room until 4pm, no fridge in the room, no complementary water, breakfast doesn't start until 7am, about 9 tv channels, tv needed tuned, only bbc world news

Staff is so friendly, the room really is comfy and nice decor. Will absolutely be back for next holiday in Queenstown.
