I paid for non smoking twin rooms but when checked in, both rooms smell like ashtray. Location is good.

The breakfast in this hotel is good. And it's closed to Shin-Osaka station which easily travelling via Shinkansen.

Within walking distance to some major sights

The hotel does need an upgrade as it's quite old. However, the location makes up for it. It's a short walk from the train station, so it's super convenient. We stayed at this hotel as we arrived late at night and we took day trip out of Osaka.

Cleanliness of room was poor, vacuum filters needed changing - smell in room was awful (dog hair). Dog barking - waking you up early - ain't good on holiday:(

Have to deal with those big and heavy luggages since there is no lift.
