Being a bit down the road from the Main Street wasn't really an issue but if you are carless allow 15 min to walk up to eateries and heli tour offices. Staff were brilliant with advice and discounts.

The rooms were nothing like the picture, bed was terrible, bathroom old and in poor condition. Room was dark musty and depressing. Would not recommend it to anybody. We did not even stay the first night we checked into the Mecure which was what we would h

a 24hrs supermarket , hundred yen dollars shop near the hotel.the mini kitchen provide all dining stuff.the sofa bed is not comfortable.

Forget the legacy, the 400 year old story. If you cannot maintain the property for public enjoyment, and simple health and safety...Shut it down. The accommodate is dirty, lacks daily cleaning and very tired.
