We arrived about midday, presented our passports and as per Japan hotels, we couldn't check in until the official check in time, in this case 3pm. We expected this. Went for a walk and returned at 2:55, presented our passports, the computer was consul

The staff where very welcoming, we loved our room - great facilities (the hot tub was a bonus!), and breakfast included made for a relaxed morning - a little oasis close to the town centre - we will be back :)
