usual Ibis tasteless hotel in an amazing location. staff is wonderful, really helpful. Don´t expect any amazing feature, you will not find it, but it will give you a good base to move around Edinburgh

Wonderful staff and knowledge of the area. Elegant room and common area. Walking distance to town center, hiking trails and the lake.

Other than the fabulous Face Statues outside, the hotel is quite plain and the lobby just full of plain chairs to sit on - very basic. I had a twin room, which is not easy to find! Unfortunately, the walls were quite dirty and there was a big pole in the
