All of them were kind and tried helping me. Rooms were always clean and neat. Wash room was quite small but they have public bath in the basement. You could enjoy oncheon (Hot bath) and relaxing. Good location to back and forth to several attraction. Ch

Nice ryokan hotel with traditional japanese room. Room is big enough for 4 person to sleep together and very clean. but price is a bit over the top for this kind of hotel. Location is just beside Gion. but a bit far from bus/train station

This hotel was once a palace. It now looks old and in need of some serious renovation. Considering the cost of the room is was quite disappointing, especially after our stays in some really nice hotels in other places in Japan. I do not recommend it
