Location, value for money and friendly staff

Not sure why...there was a bug flying every night when I back even I killed the previous one!!

Eventually changed my room

The service and breakfast were very good

the garden, the pub, the location

We were only looking for somewhere to spend the night and this was fine for the purpose. The room was clean although many corridors smelled of smoke. The bed was rather hard. The breakfast had a large range of food, but not the best I've ever eaten.

All the essentials covered and nothing more. Simple, however rooms are quite smaller compared to other hotels.
