this hotel was easy to get to with public transport, in a quiet neighbourhood and of a decent standard.

This is an average old-style city hotel with a fantastic location. The fittings are somewhate dated, stained and the room was not very clean in parts. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent helpful Staff Old building with Victorian Character. Really good breakfast Excellent value for money. Shows what good management can achieve.

We were in room 206 and the mattress was tilted downward so our feet were higher than our heads (very uncomfortable) and so side table was higher than the mattress and kept hitting ourselves on the corner. Breakfast was very poor quality and toaster eithe
