Interesting option when visiting Kyoto during High Season due to its good train connection to Kyoto Station (2 stations away). Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Otsu itself unfortunately doesn't has much to offer...

This is very old hotel, but it's very well maintained hotel. Room space is above average, and we are very happy to get room in high floor.

The room had a old hair tie on the bench on entry, not sure if surfaces were cleaned. No water provided or a fridge to store water. The hotel was very average and not worth the money. In addition, we booked a airport transfer and was quoted between 25-30
