Overall a great hotel. Reasons for less than 5 stars: Staff was somewhat abrasive and our toilet was very finicky while the lobby ones were not. Further, wifi is only offered in the lobby, but the signal was so weak we could never get it.

Stayed 1 night at the Grand Mecure before travelling to the Marlborough region. Hotel was clean, cozy and close to Nelson airport. Ate at the restaurant located at the hotel and that was very nice (had an excellent waitor who looked like was working solo
