Good: friendly staff, free snack in the evenings, generally clean, excellent location, luggage room, nice spare room, bar, good vibe, spacious dorms Bad: have to pay 4$ per day for WiFi.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. It is truly a grand property with gracious and helpful staff. The hotel's plumbing and some structural issues are showing age. For example, there was a water leak in another couple's bathroom on a lower floor

It's a nice hotel to stay, even though it's not spacious. Overall, had a good experience staying in a Japanese Style hotel. Staff Mr Cheng @ Sheng was very polite n well verse in English n gave us few tips on where to go in Tokyo around Ueno area

There is superstore and resturant near hotel and the bed is comfortable but you need to walk more than 15 min to subway station

Quite difficult to enter if you are in a car. The entrance is basically a doorway so look out for it. Unless you wish to park in a commercial parking station there is nowhere to park while you get to reception to gather details of the hotel parking. My hu
