This is my 2nd time staying at Amba Hotel. The staff are well trained & the facilities are excellent. The free minibar was a plus point too.

This hotel is very impressive upon arrival. But it is quite distant from airport and Hiroshima's memorial sites. Room and view are very impressive, but room needs a polish or update, stains on carpet not up to the appearance of hotel as this can evoke

Basic - as expected for a Japanese style room but great location: On bus route 5 and 100 from Kyoto station. Opposite Henien Shrine, museums, Okazaki park, Zoo and near start of the Philosopher's Walk. 20 minute walk to Gion.
