The hotel is in a wonderful location. It is truly a grand property with gracious and helpful staff. The hotel's plumbing and some structural issues are showing age. For example, there was a water leak in another couple's bathroom on a lower floor

This hotel is definately over-rated,throughout my holiday in NZ,all the hotels I stayed provide free WIFI,but not Millennium,not even free WIFI in common area,I think that is too much. The rooms are not spacious either and the shower is very weak,overall,

The staff were great I asked for my checkout time to be extended to better match my flight and it was no problem to extend from noon to 5pm at no charge

I'd have preferred to be in main tower, not the adjacent one. Also No restricted card access to lift.
