The hotel is in a wonderful location. It is truly a grand property with gracious and helpful staff. The hotel's plumbing and some structural issues are showing age. For example, there was a water leak in another couple's bathroom on a lower floor

Over looking the 18th at St Andrews helped by great staff is quite an experience

The hotel was very good to excellent in every respect however the room we had overlooking the 18th hole gave fabulous views and was the highlight.

Great location and staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Very good breakfast. Some aspects of this fine old building and decor could do with a bit of a refresh however.
